Buttars

I took these boys pictures last week. Baby Caleb put up quite the fight. I seriously thought since he was only 8 days old and my studio was really, really warm that he would sleep the whole time and let us take as many pictures of him as we wanted. He had different plans. He really fought us and wouldn't go to sleep. But he did sleep a while at the end so we got some real quick. Amanda, all your boys are just darling!

I also wanted to let everyone know that I am still taking pictures. I still only like to do one session a week. Obviously once my baby comes I will take a break but if you want pictures just e-mail me and we can work something out.

I also may increase the prices just a little. As of now I charge $25 for a child session and $50 for a newborn. Most child sessions take about an hour but then editing takes about 2. And a newborn takes 2-3 hours just taking pictures and about 2 to edit. I love taking pictures and want to be affordable, but when I am spending a total of 5 hours on a session, it isn't worth it. Photography for me has always been more of a hobby--but it can be an expensive hobby. I would like to be able to at least break even with the things I buy (new props, backdrops, etc). So, after I have my baby prices will be $50 for a child session and $75 for a newborn. Later this fall I will start doing family sessions and prices TBA.

Jacob

Jacob was the first baby I photographed in my studio...he was just a couple months and now look at him! He is one of the cutest little boys with the most amazing eyes! He was busy, busy and kept escaping so we had to be fast. And he gave me a bunch of serious looks. He was so funny--he would be all serious then come up to me and sit on my lap and look up at me and give me the hugest smile. He did give us a bunch of smiles at the end.

See what I mean about his eyes!? Beautiful!

It seems like I always take pictures of the kids right before church because that is just about the only day they look somewhat put together. I probably shouldn't because they usually don't cooperate which puts me in a bad mood for church. These are a few that turned out alright.

I can't remember what I said to her, but whatever it was, she didn't like it.

Ethan, Evan, and Kaelyn

I took pictures of Torrey's beautiful kids a while ago, and I'm finally getting around to posting them. April was a busy month--vacation, a birthday, two sets of visitors and Easter all happened in a two week period. I also had three sessions this week so May looks like it is going to be just as busy.

Anyways, enjoy these three cute kids. I always love what Kaelyn is wearing and Torrey always has her in the cutest accessories (which she makes by-the-way). Ethan and Evan are twins, but have such different features. Both very, very adorable!
