This was one of my favorite sessions to date. Heather e-mailed me while I was in AZ to see if I could take her girls pictures so we got together right after I got home. Her new baby, Adalyn Ruth (same exact name as our Adalynn minus one "n") slept like a champ and is one of the prettiest babies I have ever seen! I had so much fun! I have to say I am now so much more excited for our baby--I hope she is just as cooperative as Adalyn was.

I am about three sessions behind on posting and I'm working on editing probably my last session before I have our baby. So I plan on spending lots of time in front of the computer until I am done. Thanks for being patient with me everyone!

I took Hadley's pictures when I was first getting into photography. I really think she was one of my first "official" sessions. Now she has a cute little brother, Greyson! It was a lot of fun taking their pictures and chatting with Kiley.
Kiley told me her kids were not photogenic. Um, yeah right! Hadley is one beautiful little girl (with a really cute personality).

Buttars

I took these boys pictures last week. Baby Caleb put up quite the fight. I seriously thought since he was only 8 days old and my studio was really, really warm that he would sleep the whole time and let us take as many pictures of him as we wanted. He had different plans. He really fought us and wouldn't go to sleep. But he did sleep a while at the end so we got some real quick. Amanda, all your boys are just darling!

I also wanted to let everyone know that I am still taking pictures. I still only like to do one session a week. Obviously once my baby comes I will take a break but if you want pictures just e-mail me and we can work something out.

I also may increase the prices just a little. As of now I charge $25 for a child session and $50 for a newborn. Most child sessions take about an hour but then editing takes about 2. And a newborn takes 2-3 hours just taking pictures and about 2 to edit. I love taking pictures and want to be affordable, but when I am spending a total of 5 hours on a session, it isn't worth it. Photography for me has always been more of a hobby--but it can be an expensive hobby. I would like to be able to at least break even with the things I buy (new props, backdrops, etc). So, after I have my baby prices will be $50 for a child session and $75 for a newborn. Later this fall I will start doing family sessions and prices TBA.

New Backdrop

I got this new backdrop the other day...I love how rich and vibrant the colors are and I just thought it would look so cute with little boys.

You just can't take the crazy outta Devin.

Wyatt

Remember the twin baby boys I did a few weeks ago? Well, this sweet little baby is their new cousin. Sarah and Jocelyn are sisters--both have little boys around 18 months and newborn baby boys. How fun! And maybe a little crazy sometimes!

Little Wyatt slept like a champ. I thought he was going to put up a fight, but he proved me wrong and let me do whatever I wanted. I have been trying to put a baby on my antique white chair since I bought it and he might be the first that let me. Thanks little man!
